New-Looking Kitchen Cabinets Without Tearing Out Your Kitchen

Cabinet refacing gives you new doors, new drawer fronts and a matching finish on your cabinet frames — while your cabinet boxes, layout and (usually) your countertops stay right where they are. It's the fastest way to a kitchen that looks new, for a fraction of the cost of new cabinets.

What Is Cabinet Refacing?

Refacing is a cabinet makeover that replaces everything you see and keeps everything that still works. If your cabinet boxes are solid and you like your layout, there's no reason to rip them out.

What we replace

  • All cabinet doors (your choice of style and color)
  • All drawer fronts
  • A matching finish or veneer on the face frames and exposed cabinet sides
  • New hinges and hardware
  • Optional: dovetail drawer boxes with soft-close slides, crown molding, glass doors, trash pullouts and roll-out trays

What stays

  • Your cabinet boxes and kitchen layout
  • Your countertops and backsplash (unless you want to replace them)
  • Your plumbing, electrical and appliances
  • Most of your kitchen routine — no demolition, no weeks of drywall dust

  3. Order. With your 50% deposit we order your doors and materials. Lead time is typically 4–6 weeks.

  5. Walkthrough. We review every door and drawer with you and adjust anything that isn't perfect before final payment.

When Refacing Isn't the Right Fit

We'll tell you honestly. If your cabinet boxes have water damage or are falling apart, or you want to move the sink, range or walls, new cabinets are usually the better investment — and we build those too. Refacing works best when the boxes are sound and the layout works for you.

Cabinet Refacing FAQs

How much does it cost to reface kitchen cabinets in Pensacola?

Our refacing doors are $225 each and drawer fronts $175 each, so a kitchen with 20–30 doors and 8–12 drawer fronts runs about $5,900–$8,850 before optional upgrades like new drawer boxes, crown molding or pullouts. Use our kitchen calculator for your estimate.

How long does cabinet refacing take?

After you approve your design, doors and materials typically take 4–6 weeks to arrive. The install itself usually takes 3–5 days.

Can I keep my countertops?

Yes — most refacing projects keep the existing countertops. If you want new ones, we coordinate countertops through our fabrication partner, Emerald Coast Granite & Tile.

Is refacing cheaper than new cabinets?

Usually, yes, because we keep your existing cabinet boxes and skip demolition, plumbing and electrical work. New custom cabinets are quoted per design and typically cost substantially more.

Can you add soft-close drawers and hinges?

Yes. We offer dovetail drawer boxes with soft-close undermount slides ($250 each), and soft-close hinge upgrades are quoted per kitchen.

Can I use my kitchen during refacing?

Your cabinets stay installed during refacing, so there's no demolition. We'll walk you through what to clear out and the install schedule before we start.

Do you work in condos and rentals?

Yes. We regularly work in Gulf Coast condos and coordinate access, parking and HOA rules with you or your property manager.

Do I need to pay up front?

We take a 50% deposit to order your materials, with the balance due when the job is complete.
